How physiotherapists progress rehabilitation after ankle sprain

 

 

Introduction Dear Sir or Madam,
Thank you for your interest in this study. This study is a collaboration between the Bern University of Applied Sciences (BUAS) (Switzerland), University of Antwerp (Belgium) and Ulster University (Northern Ireland).

Aim of the Survey:

  • Investigate how physiotherapists in Switzerland progress rehabilitation after ankle sprains.  
  • Only physical therapists (physiotherapists) whose case load includes patients with ankle sprains, are asked to complete the survey. 

We are grateful for the time and effort that you are willing to spend to contribute to this survey.
The correct course of this study highly depends on your cooperation with honest answers. There are no wrong answers, this is just an inventory.  

The survey consists of four parts: 

1. Questions regarding Physiotherapist (5 questions)

2. Lateral Ankle sprain Case (16 - 23 questions)

3. Patient population information (4 questions)

4. Lateral ankle sprain rehabilitation (3 questions)

General Information about the Survey:

It should take you approximately  10 - 15 minutes to complete the entire survey. Please do not skip a question unless otherwise stated.
Please do not search for information while completing this survey.
For multiple choice questions, please indicate one answer each time, unless stated otherwise.

Participation in this survey is voluntary.

The data collection for this study will only be performed through this online survey.
Your personal data and answers are confidential and remain anonymous to the research team at all times. Your anonymity is also assured when the results are published.
Only the local researchers Paul Grimm and Alexander Philipp Schurz have access to the survey data. The data collected are only used in the context of this study. You will not be reimbursed for your participation in this study. 
Participation can be canceled at any time and for any reason, without further consequences for the participants. In this case, the data will be deleted immediately.
